Hi All,

I am trying to insert a logo and also to change the background color of the Columns/Rows in Analysis for OLAP, but I am unable to find any option for that.

Could someone please let me know how this can be achieved.

Thank you.

Hello Poojitha,

Analysis OLAP is focused on analysis workflows rather than reporting workflows which is why some "cosmetic" workflows are not available.

It is not possible to add logos to an analysis. If you are wanting to perform corporate theming, Analysis OLAP workspaces are viewed inside the BI Launchpad and the BI Launchpad header can be customised to have different logos and colours.

You can change the background colour of rows/columns but again normally only to enhance the understanding of the data... though it can be tweaked for cosmetic purposes if the colour you want is supported. Analysis OLAP has a colour palette that supports analysis... eg different shades or red and green for "good" and "bad", different shades of yellow for "warning", different shades of blue for "cold" and "hot" analysis plus shades of grey for accessibility.

For each measure in your workspace, right click on the Measure name and choose "Conditional Formatting". Add a rule that will apply to all values... e.g "Not Equal To 9999999" and choose the background colour. Note at the bottom of the Conditional Format task panel there is a "Preview" check box, enable this to see the effect of your rule in realtime before you commit.

If you want to do proper reporting of your analysis results, the best way is to save your analysis as an "Analysis View", via the Export menu. You can then use WebI to open the Analysis View and apply all the great WebI reporting features to your analysis, including adding logos, colours etc.

Kind Regards
