Simulate workflow

Hi ,

How do I simulate a workflow. I have an already existing workflow inplace. I would like to see if it is getting triggered. Other than creating the events which trigger the workflow, is there any way to simulate a workflow.

Thanks & Regards,

Lalitha

Hi Lalitha,

This can be done through Transaction SWUS.

Please give your workflows in and execute it. Don't forget to fill in the container values before executing.

Reward points if usefull.

Hi,

Using SWUI tcode, I can start a workflow. But I don't want to start it as changes happen in real time. I want to simulate it and check it what happens. Any tcode for that would be helpful.

Hi Lalitha,

Do you mean you want to debugg the realtime workflow?

I don't want to debug it. Actually my requirement is to disable a workflow. For that my idea is disable the event linkages. I want to test the workflow's behaviour before and after he disabling of event linkages.

Hi,

Go to SWDD or PFTC giving your Workflow template number open it then Basic Data--> Start Event.

Here if you find the event linkage is green means it is active, Click it once and it will be deactivated.

I don't have the container values. I just want to see if the workflow is working or not.
