Can i learn SAP EWM if i am from SAP EP background.

Hi All,

I am working in SAP EP from past 2.4 years, frankly speaking i dont want to continue my career into SAP Technical modules, I am Interested into SAP EWM. rather then going for Fiori or HANA i would like to go for SAP EWM. One of my friend is helping to to get idea of EWM. He Provides me EWM100,110,120 to get an overview of EWM.

then he told me to get a system in rent and start configuring inbound/outbound and all the process.

although after studying the book i got to know the terminology and process of EWM, i wnt to warehouse and checked the warehouse storage area and all.

i know most of the people here much experience and can suggest me in a right direction.

I am eager to learn EWM and i will learn but wanted to know about the market for SAP EWM and upcoming future.

some people told me to have idea of MM as well, but my point of view is to learn first EWM properly then will learn how data is coming from ECC system.

Please Suggest me how to proceed further and how to learn as quick as i can..

i am a quick learner and i can grab things very fast.

am i doing right choice?

or how to go ahead and make difference.
