how to derive settlement rule for wbs element from cost center

how to derive settlement rule for WBS element from request cost center or responsible cost center . because I didnot find settlement rule in cost center master data. thank you

Hi,

You need to maintain the settlement rule in WBS Element. For this go to CJ20N select the WBS Element then Edit ->Costs -> Settlement rule. Here you can maintain the rule with the receiver as cost centre.

I can get your question right, you want the settlement rules to be automatically created with Req Cost Center or Rep Cost Center (as on the WBS master data) as receiver objects.

Below are the steps:

1. Maintain a Settlement profile where Cost Center is Valid Receiver object

2. Maintain the node 'Determine Strategy for Settlement Rule' . In the setting mention the required strategy, settlement profile created above and account assignment category as '2'/'3' - Your case.

3. Assign the Strategy Sequence 'SAP030' or 'SAP040' in your case on the settlement parameters of the WBS.

4. Execute T code CJB2/CJB1
