How Stop creating R/3 Customer Number ID Type in CRM BP Creation

We observed few BP's are updating with R/3 Customer Number as ID Type, what exactly reason to create this to understand why only for few BP's. Is there any option to stop creating this ID Type?, and also how to delete and impacts for existing data?

I observed some related SCN link (https://archive.sap.com/discussions/thread/3273555), unfortunately details which are incomplete for my scenario.

Hi,

This is a standard behavior.

In CRM inbound processing, please see the include LBUPA_MWX_BDOC_R3A_INF02 (form process_special_information), which is called from function module BUPA_MWX_BDOC_DOWNLOAD_R3A. This BAPIMTCS segment is responsible for the creation of the CRM002 ID on the BP in a hard-coded way.
