Should I take cert about to expire, or a newer cert. which would force me to study again.

I am scheduled to take C_hana_tec_11 soon and I noticed its expiring end of 2017. Will my cert be worthless after that? Should I take the sps12 instead and then take delta for 2.0?

Thanks for your time everyone. I appreciate it.

Hi Syed,

Worthless? That depends on your point of view. It will be expired next year.

If the business you work for (employee, contracting) is looking for certified consultants for 2018, you will not match that criterion.

However, if the business is looking for engineers smart enough to pass HANA exams, having passed any certification will probably be of some value. It could also be that the business is looking for HANA SPS 11 experts.

Is this very likely? No, it is not.

Why not pass TEC_13 right away? No need for any delta and you are good to go for the next 2 years.
