Hi Experts,
I would like to know on how do we can handle Amazon Consignment Warehouse in SAP.Basically we are using Amazon Warehouse to keep our inventory and from there it will be sold to end customer.
Currently how I have map this process is We are doing Inventory Transfer to transfer the product from In house to Amazon Warehouse and when it gets ships to customer we create Sales Order,Delivery and Invoice.
Is there any better way of handling this.I will appreciate your reply.
Thanks in Advance.
Hi Monika,
It sounds like you are doing it the right way. May I ask why you create the Sales Order and Delivery Note afterwards?
Am I guessing right that your business process goes like this?:
If the sales order goes directly from your web shop to Amazon, and you get the information of what is actually delivered afterwards, it would not be necessary for you to create the Sales Order, and Delivery Note. Creating the Invoice directly will also decrease stock, so no need for a Delivery Note (the customer already received one from Amazon together with the shipment), and the Sales order is really only a "declaration of intent" (it does not do anything with stock or money).
Assuming that the order information goes directly to Amazon, and they send you some form of electronic confirmation of delivery, you could streamline your business with a simple addon that would turn the electronic confirmation from Amazon automatically into an Invoice in B1.
Regards,
Johan
