    Hi,

    Following code will help you create a Input field to an already existing attribute

    public static void wdDoModifyView(IPrivateTestCompView wdThis, IPrivateTestCompView.IContextNode wdContext, com.sap.tc.webdynpro.progmodel.api.IWDView view, boolean firstTime)

    {

    //@@begin wdDoModifyView

    IWDTransparentContainer container = (IWDTransparentContainer)view.getElement("RootElement");

    IWDInputField inputField = (IWDInputField) view.createElement(IWDInputField.class);

    IWDAttributeInfo attrInfo = wdContext.getNodeInfo().getAttribute("Your Attribute">);

    inputField.bindValue(attrInfo);

    container.addChild(inputField);

    //@@end

    }

    Regards

    Hi,

    Write this code in wdDoModifyView,

    IWDTransparentContainer root = (IWDTransparentContainer)view.getElement(<id of root UI element container>);

    IWDInputField input = (IWDInputField) view.createElement(InputField.class,"input");

    IWDAttributeInfo attr = wdContext.getNodeInfo().getAttribute(<name of the context attribute>);

    input.bindValue(attr);

    root.addChild(input);

    Regards,
