    Dear Rajaneesh,

Create quantity contract and enter quantity 100 kg the contract and also maintain Unit of measure in Material Master as KG.

I hope this will solve your problem.

    Hi Rajneesh,

Pick up the item cat KMN and try with completion rule 'B'. This should solve your problem. If this still doesnt resolve your problem you need to go for changes in the user exit.

    Kind Regards

    Chakradhar

    Hi,

I hope you are using ECC5.0 or 6.0 where we have enhancement spots where you need to change the message type from warning to Error whenever the sales order quantity exceeds the contract quantity.

Take help of ABAP er for using enhancement spot.

    Hi

Configure the field 'Completion Rule' in the definition of Item Category. Use the appropriate value and it will meet your requirement.

    Thanks,

    Ravi
