Status of Data in Multicube

Because of data volume, we have separate cubes for Special Ledger data for each fiscal year. However, because of the need to do year to year comparisons and to minimize the number of queries that have to maintained, our queries are written on a multicube that joins the cubes for the individual fiscal years.

In most of our queries we have the "status of data" text element displayed. Since the queries are based on the multicube, the users find the status of data misleading. For example, in multicubing together last year's data with this year's data - the previous fiscal year cube would have a last updated date of 10/31/2007 while the current year cube would usually have a last updated date of today's date. However, the query shows a status of data of 10/31/2007 (the last date from the previous year cube) although the data is actually current up to today's date. Although technically accurate, this is misleading to the users. Does anyone know of a way to force the status of data for the multicube to be picked up from the current year cube?
