Hello Experts,
Can we do Split in payment terms for customers
Senario
1.Aging - Split payment terms, aging should be reflective of the payment agreed:
Term 1 = 10% 10 days term,
Term 2 = 20% 30 days term,
Term, 3 = 70% 60 days terms.
as the full payment is not due say from 30 days from invoice date
Thanks & Regards,
Afzar.
Hello Afzar,
Payment terms is mainly used for the discount calculation.
for example : if the payment is made in 10 days, 20% discount, 20 days 5% discount and net amount due after 30 days.
as I understand you would like to split the payment for the transaction as agreed with the partner. To achieve this, you can split the open item (Within customer /supplier account monitor) and assign respective net due date based on the agreement to each split item.
For example :
Invoice of 1000 INR.
You could split this open invoice as below
100 INR -> Net due 10 days
200 INR -> Net due 30 days
700 INR -> net due 60 days
Since the open item is split into three transactions, Aging list will also shows the amounts accordingly.
Can you check this.
I hope this information will help you.
Regards,
Harshal
