How to open sar file?

Hi experts,

I am trying to install SAProuter. How can I install sar file?

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

oh, thats a good old solution, use a SAPCAR file, option sapcar -xvf and file xxxxxx.sar and extract the .sar file. You have to use a SAPCAR of your OS system. Maybe an unix system. I use an Win SAPCAR.exe on my local PC and extract the file, sometimes later to the host, if i need some special files on the UNIX host, i always use a unix sapcar_xxxxxx on the server host. 745pl400-510er.png local pc!

Dont use a too old version. my wIn version is from 2012. anyway too old, i know.

Look at the smp for the sapcar version for your OS
