Hi,

UN fortunately I created one product in CRM, so I want to delete the product how I can delete that product. This product is not in R/3

I ticked archive flag in the product master. And I tried to delete using COM_PRODUCT_DELETE_SINGLE.

But I’m unable to delete that product.

Help will be rewarded.

SAP CRM offers many ways to create products, including the following methods:

Use transaction COMMPR01 or follow IMG path Master Data>Products>Maintain Data

Replicate materials from SAP ERP or any third-party system using CRM Middleware

There is just one problem u2014 the standard transaction for product maintenance, COMMPR01, does not support product deletion. For example, you may want to delete products on development systems when you test your master data or middleware settings.

Although no standard transaction for product deletion exists, the report COM_PRODUCT_DELETE_SINGLE can help you clean your product data. How­ever, before you can use it, you need to perform one configuration step.

You need to register yourself as a user who has a right to execute report COM_PRODUCT_DELETE_SINGLE before you can run it. You can register yourself in table COMC_PR_TOOL_REG by using transaction SE16 (Data Browser).

Hi Rami,

Transaction code for archiving the product master data is SARA. After archiving product, can be deleted.

The following constraints apply when archiving products in the CRM System:

· Archived products cannot be reloaded into the CRM System

· Products can only be deleted if they have been archived

· Archived products can only be displayed in a technical view in the Archive Information System

· Inactive products cannot be archived

· Configurable products cannot be archived

· Contents of documents are not archived, only the URL is archived

· Documents and condition records cannot be archived or deleted
