Why not lock the workcenters by :--

    In CR02

    Extras > Status > Lock

When WC is not in maintainence you can unlock

      Dear,

      I am confirming one again,

You need to create a Miantenance order in IW31, with main work center = work center created for PP

In operation you are enetering the work center i.e is the PM work center

In Maintenance order make sycond = 1,

Now if you got MF50...it shows available capacity zero in that period

      Please come back if required

    Dear,

    Please read below the message

When you run MRP with lead tiome scheduling option, the capacity planning table will get updated. Now if you want to declare that WC is under maintetance, hence in the maintenance you need to clear that

In the maintenance order header data screen enter for the field systcond = 1, hence the capacity will be removed from for that duration from WC.

When you goto capacity plannuing table it will show the line in red on that dates. When you dispatch the requirement, system will give message that you cannot disoatch as the capacity is not available.

    Dear

we have to maintain the overall profile for the capacity availability in transaction "OPJK" and during the creation of maintenance order in the header data we have to maintain the system condition as "1" i.e in operation.

    Dear

have you checked the dates i.e ,the period in which the work center capacity is required should be in between the basic dates of the maintenance order then only it will show line in red on that dates.
