What is Workflow in SAP? Waht are the usages of having workflow and what are the necessary customiation steps need to be done?

    Workflow is used generally for the approval process or for the co-ordination between different departments involved in creation of an object for example material master.

    In MM normal use of workflow will be for Purchase order approval or purchase requisition approval.

    workflow is configured by abaper

    and later on it is used by functiopnal consultant

    coming to u r question

    workflow has wide use

    like in release strategy message or the po is sent via workflow to the requisite personel

    it is also used for parked invoice ........
