production version selection

Sir,

I have created two version for my fert material I have changed in mrp 4 Bom selection only from prod version

And I have made changes in OPL8 for manual selction of prod version.

My issue is.

When I am creating order, system is asking me a prod version but before that system is asking me in pop-up for select routing.

I have checked for routing selection, It is 3 - Routing selection is automatic.

Why sestem giving this pop-up

I wants pop-up production version only

what i have to do.

Please suggest me a solution.

Hi,

Check the valid date of Routing.

In your requirement date valid routing must be available.

Routing dates are valid from 11.01.2008 to 31.12.9999

in version also I have mention same.

Hi Nilesh,

Please letus confirm, in the POP UP -menu what message is system is Giving, like No Routing Found or ...

Please check with Routing status, Usage, Lotsize at Routing Header.

At OPL8 what are settings u ahve maintained for Routing section. Like selction Id,tasklist type.

Do one small test, create prod order with PV selection = 1 (automatic) & then see the results.

Please comeback.

Hi,

pv = 1 manual selection of PV

Application = p

Selection ID = 01

sequence exchange = 0

task list type = N

alt task list application = p

Routing selection = 3

alternative selection = tick (yes)

Hi Nilesh,

Since u have maintained Prod version, routing is selected based on "task list" assigned in PV and Routing releated to "Task list' will be copied to Order.

Please check with Routing selection settins at OPJF for Task list type is same as at PV.

I hope u create production order manaully ie CO01 .

what is order basic dates...

since u select by production version first system will give PV selection Pop-Up then only give routing selction POP-up. But i am surprising how u get routing selection POP-up before than PV .please confirm

Hi Pradeep,

I have checked task list type in OPJF it is N(routing)

and in PV also it is routing.

I am creating order through CO01

and you are right first system is asking me PV and then Routing selection.

Nilesh,

Looks like system is not able to automatically select the routing based on the PV you have entered when creating the order. Check the validity of the Routing in terms of Quantity/Dates/Status/Usage for the production version you have entered.

Please share the screen shot of the PV and the order header screen.

Hi Nilesh,

Have u assigned Valid BOM & Routing at Production version of Header Material.

Assign the Tasklist type & Group Number &Group counter for Routing at Planning data section of PV
