Book Directly To A Profit Center

I have a request to have services entered through a purchase order's service entry sheet to be booked directly to a profit center, not hitting a cost center.

Is there a way that this can be achieved. Please advise.

Hi,

direct postings to a profitcenter can be made via transaction 1KEL or 9KE0.

You can enter directly in PCA using 1KEL.

However in a service related PO, the services will hit GL account which will be a cost element. So the CE needs to be a assigned to a cost object and which in turn is assigned to a PCA. So the question is whether the GL account can be posted to PCA by passing the cost obkect. Under this scenario, the posting cannot be made directly to PCA without hitting the cost object.

as I said before: By using transaction 1KEL or 9KE0 it is possible without entering any CO account assignment object.

You cannot directly post to a profit center without hitting a cost object.
