changing of customer master data

Hi Gurus,

Could any one of you suggest me how to change the custer master data,

I need to change 2 fields in customer master data,

and its not for one r two customers, I need to change all the customers in that particular company code, is there any method thru which we can update all the customer masters at the same time,

Hi,

The best way is to go for LSMW through Batch input recording. No need for any ABAPer. Even if an ABAPer develops a programme, this will be of no use afterwards because this is only one time requirement.

We should opt for BDC programme for frequently used tasks only.

Hi Santhosh,

You can change by recording BDC programme or LSMW. Once you do any one of this programme you can change as many customer. If you want maintain normally you can use T code XD99 customer master mass maintenance. Select which fields you want to change.

Go to T code SHDB record using T code XD02 by changing one customer master which field you want enter or change. Once you finish this that will give you the programme steps. In this way as well you can do or take ABAP consultant help develop a programme for you. ABAPer can record the BDC programme and he can help to doing so.
