How to detect the version of SAP EP solution

Hi!

I habe a very simple question regarding SAP EP solution.

How to detect on OS layer (files, logs, etc.) which version do I have?

Unfortunately I do not have some Portal users and have only OS access.

Thank you very much!

regards

Thom

    Hi,

if you have no J2EE user at all then the Visual Admin is also out of the question, right?

Then one way would be to take a look at the file std_server0.out in /usr/sap/<sid>/JC00/work.

When the J2EE Engine is up and running there is an entry

SAP J2EE Engine Version 6.40 PatchLevel 109749.313 is running! ...

    or

SAP J2EE Engine Version 7.00 PatchLevel 109886.44 is running! ...

I thought there was a note somewhere which did the conversion (e.g. 109749.313 means SP21, 109886.44 is SP14) but I cannot find it just now.

    Regards,

    Holger.
