How to install addtion Usage Type EP ....

We installled the as Java 70 (NTW04s sp9 ) with the UT EPC, DI, As Java and applied all the patches till sp13 for these components.

Now we want to add the EP usage type.

We are following note 883948 anyway there are points not clear.

We downloaded into the EPS/IN all the components indicated as member of the EP ut (ie: NETPDK, LMPORTAL, RTC*,.....) at patch level 13.

We get them from the sap site under swdc , Support packages and patches, as note 883948 says.

Despite this if we run the JSPM (sp13) the with the optio '"Install Additional Usage TYpe" it continue to say

"No applicable support package stacks found for deployment....."

We suspect the packages we download are just 'patches' and not the real installation packages for these components, but we do not know where to find the proper packages..........

Any help ?

Sorry, I know this thread is close but I have one quick quiestion:

If I have the NetWeaver 7.01 install, the proccedure is the same?

I read the SAPNOTE you mention but says that is better read the installation guide and as I understand the procedure is the same, can you answer this please???.

Hi Roberto,

In this case, don't choose "Install Additional Usage Type", but "New Software Components". It should list the packages you put in your EPS/in and you can select these to deploy. This should do the trick.
