Hi
1. oder qty is 10, at the time of creating delivery we want to change 12 qty, but system not accepting how can we solve this
my clint requirement is he dont want to change in Va02 but he wants to change in vl01n how.
Hi Srinivas,
If your business requirement is really so...
Goto Customer master (the customer in sales order)
in that Goto Sales Area Data tab
In that goto Shipping tab.
In shipping there is a field Overdelivery Tolerance there you can define the Overdelivery tolerance.
But this is a tolerance not the licence to overdeliver, as in if due to some reason the delivery value changes minutely a reasonable tolerance is maintained, it is for that.
Again if you try to overdeliver above this tolerance you wont be able to do.
As the quantity gets copied from the sales order via Copy control.
Reward if Helpful

hi srinivas,
As far as my knowledge, order quantity cannot be changed in delivery. what ever changes you wanna do in quantity you can do only in VA02.The open quantity in delivery screen is disabled & hence you can not change it in Vl01n.
As you must be knowing that the data get copies from sales order to delivery & not from delivery to sales order via copy control.
well you can try explaining this to your client also.
Hope this helps you

Dear Mr Srinivas,
In 0VLP, kindly set the overdelivery indicator to blank or A.
This will permit over delivery as compared to the order quantity.

K Gopidas.
