How to add field to standarded table

could you please tell me how to add a field to standard table

goto se11 vbak der ull hav APPEND STRUCTURE click it.........create a Zstructure add ur own fields activate.........

create a custom structure with desired fields

Open the VBAK table in SE11

Goto > AppendStructure ... to append custom structure in the VBAK

Go to SE11 and open the table.

Click on Append Structure(Right hand top)

Click create append

Give a name to the append structure

Add the fields to it.

Activate

Hi,

Check if any CL Include(starts with CI) is available with your table. If so double click on that. It will give you the option for creating new fields.

Else u can follow the method said in the above answer to append already defined stuctures for your table.

Hi,

Create a customer include and append this structure to the table VBAK.

Once it is added activate the table, go to SE14 --> give the table name --> Select Adjust database table radio button.

Hi,

Otherwise you can use the APPEND Structure method and add the new fields. Activate.

Then Goto SE14 and adjust the database table by selecting radiobutton Select Adjust database table
