Planned order not converted to production order

Hi PP guru's ,

planned order not converted to production order for a phantom assembly for a configurable material

checked all customizing settings found o.k is there any other reason ?

mater : Kmat

phantom assembly

order type : pp02

points will be awarted for a suitable answer

Hi,

If you refer to the characteristics of the Phantom Assembly, you shall know that the planned order of the phantom assembly is not a real planned order. Whrn you create a PIR of the phantom assembly, this planned order is created which in turn triggers the procurement of components. When a sale order is created for the product, the planned order is created which is converted in to production order and then the final production is possible.

Please refer to MRP strategy 59 for the behavior.
