Do you meen VC page to page navigation, or portal page to page navigation, or layer to layer navigation? Do you have a back button in your model, or is it the browser's back button you are referring to?

I guess it's a button in a VC iview. How about calling your data service again once this button is clicked using same event that takes the user back to wherever back is? I so, drag a line from form or table with button to the data service triggering a new query.

    Hope I hit the target
