Item fully delivered but shows partially delivered

Hi, An item is fully delivered PGI done etc. But in the sales order item vbup-lfsta delivery status it shows as B meaning partially delivered. what cud be the reason for this.

Please help.

Azeem,

Sometimes delivery statuses get screwed up. For correcting that there is a report called RVDELSTA, where you enter the delivery number and it checks and corrects the statuses, if needed.

You can run it in test mode before applying changes.

If you need further information on how to run it, please check SAP note 137011.

Tks Fabio , checked the RVDELSTA , but it sugests no changes. I think this is because status from the delivery side is ok . VL03N shows all status as C.

but in the sales order vbup-lfsta = B.

Hi,

Can you check the copy control setting in the delivery documents <-> sales order item category? There is field called update document flow, which needs to be checked.

Hi Azeem,

Pl try the program SDVBUK00 through SE38 for the sales order number.

The reason might be one off database status update problem

This prog resets the doc status.

Pl check.

Actually the max number of permitted deliveries was set to unlimited thats why the item was not showing complete even after full delivery.

Dear Azeem

Go to VTLA, select your delivery type and order type and click on the "Item" tab on your left screen. Now choose your item category and click the blue lens on top left. On the bottom, you will see a tab "Control Data". See whether you have choosed "Update document flow". Most probably, this would have missed in your configuration.

hello, friend.

this is a long shot, but try this...

check item category and look into the completion rule. if there is an entry, try to leave it blank. repeat the transactions and check status at each step.

i have encountered a similar situation before and for sales order items i made an entry in this field. my transactions were sales/returns orders with reference to another sales order or a sales invoice. the resulting status was, despite complete delivery, anything but complete.

Dear Azeem,

Pls note ur delivery is completed, i mean u have done PGI, but after u do invoice for that delivery, the status of delivery will be shown as completed.

i guess u are checking the document flow.

Invoice is also completed for the sales order. Checked that one too. Still the Sales order delivery status is partially delivered, although fully delivered.

hi,

if an item is totally delivered for all of its quantity then the delivery status of it will be complete.

please let me know if you have delivered may be one of the items in the order and checking the header status. Might be there are some items in that order which need to be delivered. But if you re looking at the item status only for this line item and it still shows as partial, do this way.

create one more delivery and see for that line item which you say was totally delivered. see what happens.

And if nothing works, check the OSS notes relevant to fix this.

but i guess there should be some small issue hidden somewhere. Please bring this thread to close and let us know the reason too.

check the status of the sales order if it is being processed then ok otherwise check the copycontrols for those relevent documents

Yes the overall status says being processed. And the delivery is completed but the delivery status says partially delivered.

The sales order should show completed status and delivery should show fully delivered. But thats not happening . What could be the reason for this? Please help.

Go to the sales order and check the over all status of the order, you will find why it is still showing as 'being processed'.
