Warning at Order Release

Hi all

I want to have a warning message when i am trying to release a production order if the material is not available that is if the order status is MSPT.

Couls someone please help me. I have created a user status of order release with warning mode and assigned this status to the production order type. this gives me a warning even if the material is available.

How do i put the condition that only if the status is MSPT, then a warning message has to be displayed????

Hi sanjeev,

u can control the order release if missing parts for components via avilablity check.

Please try below settings.

set "Mat. release"= 1

at OPJK for plant /order type /business fuction (2)/checking rule combination.

Dear Sanjeev ,

I will suggest you to set to 3 in OPJK.

There three material status u can set :

(1)User decides on release if parts are missing

(2)Release permitted despite missing parts

(3)No release if parts are missing

U set this value to 3 and it will solve your problem.

Hi Sanjeev,

You can maintain Production order release availability controls for this purpose.

Go to Transaction OPJK

For the required plant , Production order type and Availability check (2 - Check availability during order release) maintain material availability. Activate check availabilty when saving order. For release material field maintain option 1(user decides on release if parts are missing).
