Universal worlist item stuck...

Former Member

Dear EP Expert,

I have some managers who have already approve their employee overtime and completed the workflow. When I check backend, the status is executed. However, in the manager EP side (Universal worklist), the item still remain there and when the manager click on it, nothing was show but only the status workflow already executed.

My question is why is this happening? Is there any solution or how can I delete that particular item in the universal worklist.

Thanks,

Regards,

Bryan

Hi Brain,

Does the work item still stays after clicking on refresh button mannually (Top right corner in EP7.0)?

Also you can do automiatic refresh setting through delta pull mechanism.

Check out the below link for all the configurations that are required to customize the delta pull feature,

Dear Shrinivas,

I am on EP6, the refresh button seem like did not effect on the item. Is there anyway i can delete it or sychronize betwwen backend and the portal? The link that you show me is Delta Pull Mechanism. Does it mean that it is only one way communication, which item will only be pull from backend but item that does not exist anymore in backend will not be deleted in the portal UWL?

Thanks

Bryan

Hi Brain,

UWL wok item should get deleted if it doesn't exist in R/3 Backend.(its a two way communication)

Also try clearing UWL cache (I am not sure this will solve your problem), but try it out.

You can clear UWL cache in the following path:

System Administration ->Sysetm Configuration ->Universal Worklist and Workflow ->Universal Worklist Administration

check the following link of UWL cache:

Hope this helps,
