We have a requirement to assign roles based on the cost center an employee has access to.
How we want to accomplish this is by creating cost center custom fields that extract values from the SAP system table. We have been able to create this field as such.
However, when we came to setup default roles we realised you can only select from standard SAP role attibutes.
We tried to bypass this by manually uploading it through an excel spreadsheet. The upload worked by the selection of this default role did not so it appears not to work.
Anyone with experience or advise on this?
Currently SAP does not support this and will consider it for future developement releases.
