Transformation step in BPM and Interface determination

Hi All,

One small question....

When we use Transformation step in BPM we specify InterfaceMapping in it.... So do we need to specify Interface mapping again when we do Interface determination.....?

Thanks,

    Hi Rohan !

The answer is no. You reference your integration repository Interface Mapping object, in your BPM's Transformation Steps to make the transformation within the BPM or you reference them in the Interface Determination for "transformations" that should occur before a message enters the BPM or any other Business Service or System. You reference your Interface Mapping object depending the use. If your transformation occurs in a transformation step of a BPM, then you don't need an Interface Determination object for that specific transformation..maybe you will need one when before the message enters the BPM or before the message enters the target system.

Hope it make things clear. If not, just ask.

    Regards,

    Matias.

ps: please award points if helpful.
