Generic datasource and Realtime enabled?

Hello,

we are going to create a generic datasource on ERP (using a function module).

Will this extractor be be "real-time" enabled, so we can use it to fill a remote cube?

Hi Jorgen,

The above answers are correct. When you create a generic ds using RSO2, select your source of data (table/fm) then click on the push button above 'Delta queue', in that screen you have to select your mode of real time update, using pointer or time char or daily basis.

It is possible to enable realtime for generic datasources. You will find a checkbox/option in generic delta settings for enabling real-time while creating your datasource.

and Addition to above you can only do realtime when you checked the checkbox when creating infopackage.
