S/4H mass-data analytics in the cloud?

hi!

how do I access S/4H (cloud) data for mass data analysis?

I like to develop an extension to S4H, it is about analytics in supply chain. Data required is huge, I need to access material master, BOM details, planning orders, production orders and so on. To process one finished good, I may need to analyse an in-house production depth of 10 layers (n*10²⁾. In other words: a lot of data to access.

I understood how to develop side-by-side extensions for S/4H cloud and use white-listed API. But to query these API as often as I need it, is too slow. The "radical" way to replicate the HANA DB is an option, but thats very expensive.

Any other ideas?
