Hello Gurus,

SAP was implemented for my client around 10 years back and legacy POs were created in SAP during that time. When I try to open one of the PO, system is giving the message as ' Unit *** is not created in language EN'. I have checked CUNI config and everything seems OK. I see translations for the UOM. I have also tried to create a new PO with same details and not getting any error for same UOM/Vendor.

I have checked online and suggested notes were applied in our system. I have noticed that UOM updated as ‘***’ in EKPO-MEINS. I guess, notes update may not update table level entries. How do we update these entries at table level? Have you ever seen similar error? Please provide your inputs

Usually SAP is right with its message in this regard.

you have to switch off the conversion exit in your settings of SE16 or SE16N to see the real internal unit in field MEINS when you display records from i table EKPO for your PO

Then look into table T006A if there is a english translation for this internal unit.

Thanks for your reply

We have contacted SAP and they suggested to develop a custom program which updates UOM mismatches at the EKPO table level.
