Hi,

i had created new business area because my client require the financial report business area wise but earlier it was not maintained in existing company code i had posted some transactions. please let me know how can i update business are for previous postings.

You are not allowed to change the existing documents. But you can do post adjustment entry with respect to that new business area.

Ex:

12345 a/c dr with no business area 100

12345 a/c cr with relevant Bus.area 100
