how to allow the use of time dependent conditions for a particular document type ????

like in case of contract the conditions stored are time depndent but in case of purchase orde it is not .....so my question is what settings i need to do so as to achive this for a document type

Hi baxter_jas

As PO and other documents can have only time indepenent conditions, you cannot control them via Config

However for RFQ you can go via the path suggested by SAS and further in Document Types Scheduling Agreement change screen go to a particular document type say LP and go to Time-D.C. and select or deselect the the same.

follow the same for Quotations.

although in backend for quotation time-dep. check box is not marked but system still creates an info record using the quotation

info update indicator 'A' is used in quotation

Hi friend,

Normally,

P.O - Time Independent

Inforecord,Contract - Time dependent

SA & RFQ acts as both time dependent & time in-dependent.Its be changed by doc type u find one indicator column as time depednent...By this way u can change...

Hi ,

For Scheduling agreement u want to change, Go to spro>MM>Purchasing>Scheduling agreement>Document Type/.

Hi

Std SAP provides

1. PO only with time independent conditions

2. Contract with time dependent conditions

3. Sheduling Agreement with time dependent & independent conditions. This u can control on configuration.

thanx for reply but can u please tell me about those configuration settings .in detail....

for which document type in schedule agrement time dep. conditions are possible
