Experts:-In real time scanario, ur working the controlling area, for that u have creation of the No. of Cost centers, so that u have any documentaton for that cost centers and Profit centers, I Want that particular NAMES, plz send me if u have no objection( this is mail id:- ammer_ameer@yahoo.co.in) I will assigne the full points

Hi,

Normally cost centers are created based on the Departmental structure of the company such as Finance, accounts, Marketing, Purchase etc. If you want you can create sub department wise as a cost center tree.

Whereas Profit centers You can create them basing on plant wise, Service/Product segment wise. such as Chennai plant, Bangalore plant etc.

As far as naming the cost center or profit center you can name them basing on a numeric no., just like naming done in Account groups. However whole creating Indivudual cost center or profit center you have to give Alphabetic brief name of the cost center or profit center. In case of cost center creation in the basic data tab you have to give brief name of the cost center, and in case of profit center in the basic data tab under description you have to give brief name of the PC.
