Portal Runtime Error

I have just installed a j2ee addin for our BW system, including BI Java and EP. After the addin was installed, it has been patched to the lattest support stack, and no errors were shown during the patching process. When trying to access the portal (through url hostname:50000/irj/portal) I get the following error in each iView:

com.sap.portal.pcm.Title

Does anybody have any suggestions for resolving this problem?

    Hi,

I think this could be because of an error during the deployment. Can you please check if there are any *.err files in cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\irj\servlet_jsp\irj\root\WEB-INF\deployment\pcd\

If this is not the case, please have a look at Note 1086644 - Checking database consistency for the PCD

    Hope this helps,

    Holger.

    Holger,

Thank you for your assistance. I have run the pcdCheckTool as per the OSS note you mentioned, and there are 15 inconsistencies detected. I have a call logged with SAP as per the instructions in the note.

    Regards,

    Jason

    Dear

You need to clean <filename.csv> commit to really clean up.

Please read oss note Note 1086644 - Checking database consistency for the PCD carefully.

    Kind regards

    Tom
