How to deinstall IW_PGW in NW 7.5 SPS9 ?

We have upgraded NW 7.4 SPS15 to NW 7.5 SPS9. And now looking at upgrading to NW 7.51 Innovation. We have done this in the DEV system.

PAM requirement are met.

OS : WINDOWS SERVER 2012 R2

DB: MSSQL 2012

Below SAP Gateways components was deinstalled successfully.

IW_SCS, IW_CNT, IW_CBS, IW_SPI, IW_GIL, IW_FNDGC, WEBCUIF

We are not able to deinstall IW_PGW even after uploading the ACP IW_PGW===100.

According to the blog below the component IW_PGW will be merged with SAP_GWFND 7.51 if only in NW 7.51 and higher.

Question:

Is it possible to deinstall this component IW_PGW while being on NW 7.5 SPS9 ? How can we perform this deinstall ?

Reason:

We suspect that maintenance planner is not allowing us with the option to update to NW 7.51 Innovation due to this component IW_PGW is still installed in the system.

Please help to shed some light on this situation. 🙂
