Asset Dep

Hi All Friends,

my quastion is one company having Assets all assets mantaing same dep area&key. i had run dep 2 periods but 3 peroiod i don't want run dep with one asset. while doing AFAB i had given assets without 1 asset . im not able to run dep.

Please help me

hi

you can block an asset for depreciation run

in order to do that go to that particular asset master data which you want to block for depreciation run, and there is block option available, you select the option and do depreciation run

system will not process depreciation for that particular blocked asset

Hi,

I could not find the Depreciation block in the asset Master. I checked the Fields in the field status groups in the IMG also. But i could not find. Where is the Field ???

sorry for late reply

go to transaction code AS02

go to tab Time-dependent

you can see "Asset shutdown" box in the bottom, tick the box and asset will not get depreciated.

if you want to shutdown only for particular period click on the option "more intervals" type in the date & select shutdown option in a raw

In AFAB, just give the one asset in the exclusions tab of the multiple selection area. There are two tabs, one for multiple values and other for range and they both have 'RED' traffic lights.
