Hi,

I have depreciate two assets in 2007 year, forcibly:

Asset A

Capitalized on 10.05.2001

Acquisition value € 2000

Depreciation key 20%

Last useful year 2005

But At the end of 2005 have remained a residual value of € 0,01, not depreciated on 2006 (closed year fiscaly), now user would depreciate the asset A on 2007

I have tried to use trx ABMA, but it give me an error

Have I to create first a specific key depreciation ?

Can somebody tell me What are the steps to do ?

Asset B (Asset sub-number)

Capitalized on 24.02.2003

Acquisition value € 1000

Depreciation key 20%

This asset was amortized until 2005, on 2007 there is a residual value of € 400, that must be fully amortized .

Can somebody tell me how to do ?

Please help me.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

For Asset A:

You specify how the end of depreciation is handled in the base method, which is independent of the chart of depreciation. However, you can enter default value for depreciation areas and company codes in Customizing for Asset Accounting (Depreciation ® Valuation Methods ® Depreciation Key ® Default Values). Using such default values, you can maintain your base methods so that you have different ways of handling the end of depreciation in different depreciation areas and company codes.

Choose > Depreciation Calculation after End of Planned Useful Life

For Asset B

Use ABMA

Hi,

I have maked entry on Default Values for depreciation area 01 (fiscal), choosing the key depreciation MANU and Depreciation Calculation after End of Planned Useful Life,

then i have changed the settings about the base of Asset A, I have entered in the field Dep. after plnd.li 'default value from company code and depreciation area'.

Then I used t.code ABMA.

Thanks you for the advice
