Additional tab with custom fields in Business Partner BP :: change/display mode issue

Hi all,

In BP(Business Partner) transaction i have did all the configuration and Customization and I am able to

display the custom fields in the additional tab. In display mode my fields are in display mode i.e Grey. BUT, when i switch to change mode it is showing in Display mode.i am not getting what i missed.

how to achieve this ?? need your help.

We'd need more information to assist. Which transaction specifically are you configuring? XD01/02/03? XK01/02/03? some other transaction? Is the additional tab a custom screen maintained via a Z program? More details the better.
