Hi

End to end implementation means:

1) Blue print phase (Designing happens)

2) Build phase actual development will be happen.

3) Integration testing phase ( Transport of object from DEV to QA and QA to PROD) with the testing done in DEV and QA.

4) Go live.

Also refer the below thread:

Let me give brief about XI

What is XI:

Xi is the middleware tool

XI are the component of SAP netweaver.

Now the difference between both of them is

In EP: you need to have a good theoritical and practical experience as well as knowledge of JAVA and adavance java.

In XI: It is separated in two parts

1) XI basis (Administration)

Activites are:

1) XI installation

2) Configuration activitie

3) Post installation checks

4) SLD configuration

5) Create Users,

6) Role assignments.

And many more

2) XI Implementation and development.

Under the development you have two parts Integration repository which is desing part which involves small amount of Java knowledge whenever your requirement is not fulfilled by standard SAP XI function.

and integration Configuration:

This is very simple stpes once your design is over.Based on your requirement you have to use the standard adapter provided by SAP for example if file is coming then u will go for File adapter,if IDOC is psoted to R3 then you go for IDOC adapter, communication with remote client u go for SOAP adapter.

Very less programming is involved but you should have knowledge of java.

Thnx

Hi,

1. Project Preparation

2. Business Blueprint

3. Realization

4. Final Preparation

5. Go-Live and Support

Here 1. Project Preparation and 2. Business Blueprint are the key responsible for Architect and Team Leads. Here they prepares the complete technical documentationsfor all the interfaces depending upon the requirements of the client.

In realizaiton he will develop all the interfaces. Once you develop you will move all the objects to QA and then in prod.

If there are any changes you will make in dev and move once again in QA and prod in Final preparation.

During Go live and support you will monitor all theinterfaces. If they have any issues you will resolve them.

For documentation about XI interfaces see the below link
