In Crystal Reports, is there a way to use the printer's timestamp rather than the timestamp of the computer sending the print job?

None that I know of. Possibly with the SDK and querying the printer for the time then passing that into a text object would do but you would need to get a Developer involved. And since CR generates the page before streaming to the printer the time would not be exact.

Possibly a UFL may be able to do it, again you need a Developer to write the UFL.

Use Google to search for this KBA - 1525014 - Sample C# .NET UFL and Localization Formula function

Hi Jae,

It's possible but that would be the same as the Print time in the report. It sounds like you want the actual printed time, not the time it was sent to the printer. In which case the answer is no.

By the time you get the actual printed time, the report has been closed and you can't submit any information to it.
