Hi Hurus,
When we do a GI to scrap Mvt 551, the storage type 999 shows value -1. How to process further to clear storage type 999? If you try to create the TO for this movement the system gives message "you have not selected any data fro the material document no. xxxxxxxx". Please advice what will be the next process to procedd with scraping in WMS.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
KHAN
Please check by OMKX, where you can find the default settings for movement type 551, that is, no TR, no TO, no change notification. You can change default settings there as you want. If without any changing you need create TR manually for movement type 551.

enter tcode LI21 and clear the differnce in storage type 999.
Enter storage type 999 in the selection screen of LI21.

Hi Khan,
Please check whether you have unprocessed TR in LB10 (as a consequence of your scrapping in IM). If it is so you can process this TR and 1 pc will be moved to your interim storage type and '-1' will disappear (provided you move the righ stock to 999).
Maybe you can solve this issue via TO I think. You have to find the right stock in WM and in LT01 (or LT10) you can move it to 999 and hopefully you'll get rid of the unpleasant '-1 pc' in 999.

Thanks.
The problem is LB 10 doesn't shows any TR. And if try to create TR manually it doesn't recognize the material document number. If I try through LT10 it does create the TO. So should we suggest the client to process it through LT10? an dconfirm teh TO right there?
Please advice
thanks,
KHAN
Hello Khan,
You can set automatic TR creation in Customizing:
SPRO > Logistics Execution > Warehouse Management > Interfaces > Inventory Management > Define movement Types
Please set the TR indicator!
I think it's better in such cases if the system generates TR automatically instead of creating TR (or TO) manually.
You are using storage type 999 for scrapping. The same interim storage type is used to handle inventory differences (default setting). Maybe you should use a different (interim) storage type for scrapping to avoid confusion.
