I see many documentation how replicate partner function from ECC to C4C but how does it work the other way around?

Scenario & Requirement:

1. Open Customer in C4C (which also exists in ECC)

2. Update Sales Employee in C4C

3. Sales Employee is updated in ECC

3a. other partner functions which do not exist in C4C (Ship to, bill to, ...) are NOT deleted in ECC -> Ship to in ECC can be another account who doesn't exist in C4C

Do we need to create a program for this?

I did some research on this in the past and it seems no standard function exists for this. This is a bit weird in my opinion as there should be a standard process for this.

Dear Arian,

Kindly go through below information,

- If an Account exists in both C4C and ERP, and its assumed that everything is in sync.

- The only thing which cannot be replicated in C4C is self-referencing PartnerFunctions.

- However when C4C sends any update to ECC, these self-referencing PartnerFunctions will be retained.

- If you have Ship-to, Sold-to with other partners, then they have to be maintained/replicated in C4C as well.

- Unless you have some sort of customization in middleware to stop certain partner functions to be not sent to C4C. And retaining such PartnerFunctions when C4C sends delta update to ECC has to be taken care via some sort of customization.
