Release Procedure with Classification

Hi ,

we try to use the same class composed of 6 charactéristics with 3 differents Release Procedure (not global release).

Each procedure is using (or not) one or more characteristics.

But the system ask us to fill all the values of the characteristics not concerned by the release procedure. (Generic values or no entry are not accepted).

Did someone encountred that issue and solved it ?

Another option would be to activate the user exit for release and clear the values in the communication structure for the unwanted characteristics. This way, you need to maintain only the required characteristics in classification.

Release procedure defined at the client level and it use only one class

now suppose you have assigned the 6 char to the class then your release strategy should contain the value in each characteristcs other wise your release will not work.

the bottom line is you have to define the value for each char.
