Auto Determination of Tax code in PO through Profit Center

Hi ,

We are trying to pull tax codes from condition records based on Plant + Profit center combination . For that we maintain Condition records for the same in MEk1 & was expecting that once the combination gets picked up in PO , then system will propose Tax code automatically. But in PO screen , system is unable to determine profit center due to which it is not referring condition maintained in the system.

Pls share your views if any configuration is missing in this scenario.

The profit center is not a standard field in the field catalog, you probably did include this field to an append of the structure used for the field catalog. Next is to use a exit to transfer the values for the new field, by itself does SAP not fill fields that you defined yourself

Yes i have included this field via extended catalog & this could be the possible reason.

Also pls suggest if i can make use of same user exit as mentioned in reference link i.e.. " USEREXIT_KOMPBV3_FILL" as it seems to be valid for SD module.
