Asterisk Symbols in FB60 Base Amount

Hi,

We are facing problem in FB60 Transaction .user defined layouts not working in Tax Tab table control .our requirement is to make visible table control fields like Base amount , LC amount . we created layout and unchecked invisible fields but the changes not happened in screen . then we created transaction variant for FB60 Transaction , applied the required changes . but asterisk symbols(****************) are displaying in Base Amount , LC amount Fields in table control.

Please provide appropriate solution.

There is a old thread Entering tax base manually into SAP

This SAP note introduced the functionality in 4.6C.

416525 - Change currencies / base amounts on control screen

SPRO
> Financial Accounting (New)
> Financial Accounting Global Settings (New)
> Tax on Sales/Purchases
> Basic Settings
> Change Field Control for Tax Base Amount

This must be done with Field status not with screen variant.

Dear Tammy,

Yes, I created transaction variant for FB60. But asterisk symbols observed in amount fields.

Please find attached screen shot for reference .

Please suggest.
