I have a field as FromDate in database which has a value 25-Dec-2016.
When I drag and drop the field in report, it shows me a garbage value as 1 Jan-4173.

How to handle this error? Can anyone suggest?

And which database are you reporting against?

Please post the driver you're using as well.

I am using web service to connect report. Database Expert-> Create New Connection -> XML and Web Service-> Make new Connection-> Use web service Datasource -> use HTTP(S) WSDL URL-> ServiceName -> Port -> Method -> Finish.

This path I am using for database connectivity.

can you please tell even after reseting the connection why it is showing the garbage collection value in report? as my in my SQL Database, data is correct. Only report is displaying garbage collection value. i.e. 1 Jan-4173

Hi Sailee,

Which version of CR is this and what is the database?

Does the database show this field's type as 'Date'?
