Split valuation (without Batch) in WM Storage type determination

Dear all,

I have a material with valuation type A, B and C. I would like to store these materials seperately.
So far I have not found a way to use valuation types in WM putaway strategies.

Any hints?

Cheers,
Lukas

without batch management is the valuation type stored in the batch number field, hence you should have different batch numbers in inventory management as well as in WM, isn't it?

And with the right setting in the mixed storage field you can avoid to store different batches of the same material in the same bin.

      Hi Jürgen,

thanks a lot for the answer.

Unfortunately, there are some more complications (sorry for not stating it in the original question).:

Customer is using fixed bin assignments. As the fixed bin is set in material master without taking the valuation type into account, the system would always propose the same bin, which is fine for the mateirals with valuation type A. Valuation types B and C are degraded materials that should be stored seperatedly so they are not picked by accident.

Using the settings for mixed storage setting "A", I could force the bin determination to skip the fixed bin storage type as long as there is already a stock for the material with valuation type A in the fixed bin.

Unfortunately, if the stock of valuation type A for the material is depleted and the next putaway is for valuation type B or C, the system would use the regular fixed bin (that should only be used for stock with valuation type A).

In the end, it would be perfect if only material fith valuation type A could be stored in the fixed bin storage type and B/C-Parts would be stored in a seperate storage type.
