SRM Add-on license

Dear all

we want to active SRM@ERP one-client Component

Also since SRM server add-on comes with ECC package i think it does not need any additional license. is it true? but when i asked my Basis consultant to active it he said that

for SRM we need additional license.

and also i remembered in my previous project we didnt pay for SRM ,

any way, can any one knows my answer? are we need separate license for active SRM COMPONET ( NOT SRM SERVER ) in ECC?

Hi Elham

Even for SRM@ERP one-client Component where you just need to use SRM basic functionalities it may not be needed go for additional licenses but this is something which depends on customer to customer and you would not find a lot of information about it online as its supposed to be confidential .

• Information about the usage and release of SAP SRM Server on one client in SAP ERP can be found in SAP note 963000. Starting with EHP8 for ERP 6.0 the Add-On product version SRM 7.0 EHP4 ON ERP 6.0 EHP8 has to be installed to run the SAP SRM Server on one client in SAP ERP.
• Please refer note 963000 which has detailed information about that and also the SRM latest release note 2171391
